My Holy Grail Hair Products

I have been on a journey with my hair over the past couple of years.

Long story short, it’s taken me a couple of years to get my hair back to a healthy state after having had it colored. I’ll spare you the details, but over that time I’ve tried out quite a few hair products and have found some new favorites and re-kindled my love for some older ones. (And all of these products are vegan and cruelty free!)

The Oribe Signature shampoo and conditioner can NOT be beat. This is a shampoo/conditioner duo that I treated myself to back in 2017, and I re-discovered it just this past year. The product labels itself as “a daily indulgence” – and that’s absolutely what it is. Using it is such a luxurious experience – it leaves my hair feeling so soft and smelling amazing for days. It comes at a hefty price tag, but wait for one of Sephora’s two annual sales to snag these if you’re interested! The real benefit this pair gives me is the ability to air dry my hair and spare it the damage from heat styling tools. This duo works some kind of magic – my hair ends up drying beautifully so I end up using little to no heat styling on most days – which my hair is very thankful for!

The R+CO High Dive mask is incredible. It’s a leave-in mask that smooths and gives much shine to your hair. It also has a built-in heat protectant and offers UV protection – a win win win!

The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo. No other dry shampoo will ever beat this one in my book. I use it to get away with just one extra day of not having to wash my hair. It’s the only dry shampoo I’ve used that actually cleans the hair, rather than just dumping a powdery layer on top and leaving me feeling worse than before using it. This product is also good to spritz in to add just a bit more volume on days when I feel like my hair is looking kind of dull or lifeless.
